Farm Stand
The UK CSA team holds Farm Stands to sell organic produce, plants, honey and more a la carte.
All Farm Stand sales support the costs of production and agricultural education at UK CSA and the Organic Farming Unit of the Horticulture Research Farm. You do not have to be a CSA member to make purchases at our Farm Stands; these sales are open to any friends of our program. Cash, check and major credit cards are accepted. Please bring your own bags to take items home so plastic use is reduced.
Yearly Schedule
During the CSA season (May-October), both locations will be open for customers each Thursday.
From late October through mid-December, the Farm Stands will only be held on campus.
A special sale for Thanksgiving is annually held from 4-6 p.m. on the Tuesday prior to Thanksgiving at the campus location and is one of our biggest sales of the year. Bulk boxes are also sold for holiday eating; these can be reserved in advance.
From January to May, Farm Stands will be held intermittently, and we frequently switch locations for these pop-up sales. Pre-orders are also taken in the off-season for veggies, as well as our spring plant sales featuring veggie, herb, annual flower and perennial flower transplants. Place pre-orders here during the off-season; the pre-order window is Monday morning through noon on Wednesday for Thursday pick-up.
