Second Farm Stand of 2026

Anyone else feeling a little bit of weather whiplash? While we weren't originally planning on a Farm Stand this week, some of the crops just exploded with last week's warm weather. We have lots to offer this week at our second Farm Stand of the year. Now we brave another few days of cold, but we are eager for more sunshine and the promise of spring veggies. Asparagus will be here soon!

What is the UK-CSA Farm Stand? The Farm Stand is our a la carte opportunity to bring home farm goods. Farm Stand purchases are separate from the CSA membership. Anyone, CSA member or non-member, can purchase from our Farm Stand. In the off season, this is a great way to get a taste of the farm before our season starts in May. During the CSA season, the Farm Stand is available for purchasing extras, as well as for non-CSA members to still have a farm shopping stop.

Our second Farm Stand of 2026 is this Thursday, March 19th, from 4-6pm at the Horticulture Barn on UK campus located at 1505 College Way; this is our usual spot for CSA campus pick ups also.

We encourage pre-orders to lock in your orders as quantities are limited. Pre-ordering is available from 8am Monday until noon on Wednesday here: https://www3.ca.uky.edu/worldpay/form/farm-stand-store/

This week, we are selling our first round of spring vegetable transplants for your home garden. Once we are past this cold spell, they will be fine to plant outside. We will have many more transplants including flowers and herbs in April and May! Veggies available for pre-order include overwintered greens like arugula, celery, kale, collards, and spinach, as well as for storage root crops like carrots, beets, and cabbage. We will also have more hot pepper powders and honey available. We hope to bring extras of everything if you prefer to not make a pre-order but we can't guarantee quantities. Lastly, we may have a few "additional" items as a last-minute surprise on Thursday... anyone can always "add on" more items even if they make a pre-order. 

Forget to come get your pre-order? No problem! You can swing by the farm Friday morning for items that were pre-ordered but not picked up Thursday.
