Farm Happenings

Tomato box reservations are available! Please fill out this form to reserve your tomato box. Please be aware that only mixed variety tomato boxes are available currently.

Some tomato boxes will be available today for walk up sales.

Farm Stand this week:

We have lots of banana peppers this week, as well as some delicious red shishito peppers. Our potatoes are the Purple Viking variety, which have beautiful purple skin and fles

  • Beets – $4/pound
  • Cucumbers, pickling – $0.50/each
  • Garlic heads – $3
  • Honey – $14/jar
  • Melons – $3-4 depending on size
  • Onions, fresh – $0.50-$1/each depending on size
  • Peppers, Bell – $1/each
  • Peppers, Bullhorn – $1/each
  • Peppers, specialty – 3 for $1
  • Peppers, hot – $6/quart
  • Potatoes, $6/bag (3lbs)
  • Shallots – 3 for $1, depending on size
  • Summer squash (Zucchini Mexicana, Patty Pan, and Yellow squash), $1-1.50/each depending on size
  • Tomatoes – $3.50/pound hybrid, $4/pound heirloom.
  • Tomatoes, bulk (mixed variety) – $30/25 pounds

Recipes & Tips for This Week’s Share

Spaghetti squash with tomatoes and rosemary – A summery winter squash recipe that uses this week’s tomatoes as well. You could gather some rosemary from our You-Pick field as well!

Looking for a way to use our potatoes and beets together? Try this beet and potato salad.

Onions are usually in the background of most great dishes, but this stuffed onion recipe brings them to the forefront.
