Celebrate UK Spring Break with Fresh Veggies
Celebrate UK Spring Break with Fresh Veggies
Published on March 19, 2026
Happy UK spring break to our UK community! Meanwhile, the farm is ramping up so we embrace the spring but have to decline a break... our plants were loving last week's warmth, so we have veggies galore today.
Find us today, March 19th, from 4-6pm down on UK campus at the Horticulture Barn located at 1505 College Way for our second **Farm Stand sale of 2026.
We have many items for sale today, so come on down and grab some fresh, organic veggies. Our staff members, Emma and Evan, will be on site to also answer any questions about the CSA season and can take payment from anyone who has registered for the CSA and needs to make a payment.
We also have a sampling of early spring vegetable transplants available for walk-up sales today. Our larger plant sale will be held at the farm in April. Stay tuned for this plant sale, which will include summer veggies, flowers, and herbs.

**What is the UK-CSA Farm Stand? The Farm Stand is our a la carte opportunity to bring home farm goods. Farm Stand purchases are separate from the CSA membership. Anyone, CSA member or non-member, can purchase from our Farm Stand. In the off season, this is a great way to get a taste of the farm before our season starts in May. During the CSA season, the Farm Stand is available for purchasing extras, as well as for non-CSA members to still have a farm shopping stop.
